I trying to find out the temperature near a burner because I’m trying to repair a chip in the porcelain of my stove. I want to see if there is a paint to do this.

the propane furnace is on, since its winter… I have been painting my kitchen cabinets with killz sealer due to a leak, and my eyes burn, it smels wierd, lilke burning paint…. I am worried about carbon monoxide…. help?

The burner cover has no paint or design. My understanding of a burner cover was if you are cooking the spill over would not get in the burner tray and burn and smoke. My roommate is a chef and said that they are to go on after you cook? what?
