This desing is bit different that nro I In side this 70mm tube is 15mm pipe. whit´s is connected in gas hose. Gas nozzle is 2,5 mm and ist front of flame holder…air comes 8 x 12 mm holes that are drilled cone shape burner head. So gas and air mix up in side the funace, not in side the tube.

This burner is run whit blower ang gas. Nozzle is 2,5mm and combustion pipe 60mm air is 6,6 m3 / min ( max.) In this run furnace is runned only 3min, gas 1,0 bar / air 50%.

Will a propane furnace put off a smell through the ducts.?

I have never had propane before. I bought a house that is 12 years old that had a bad furnace. I just got a brand new furnace and I can smell a scent coming through the ducts. It smells like a light burning metal smell. Is it because the furnace is new or does propane have a scent?
