Left gas burner on without flame for a few mins, when can i turn on stove again?
I was cooking and I realizes that the flame in my power burner went out, yet the gas was still on. The burner was on without a flame for a few mins, so I shut it off. How long do I have to wait before turning the burner back on. I dont wanna blow up my house lol. There was a faint smell of gas, but i think it is gone now, I opened my kitchen window to air it out. Thanks

You should be fine if you aired out the kitchen and you no longer smell gas. I hope that helps.
I would have turned it on right when I noticed. As a kid, I loved to turn all of the burners on, being careful not to light them, and then wait a moment for the gass to build up. Then I’d turn it to the sparker and watch it flare up, it never really did all that much, most of the gass made it to the floor to fast.
