The Mr. Clean magic eraser is well worth the investment of $3.
I swear by them when i clean my stove top and even the oven. It does not scratch the surface and even cleans the burner wells amazingly. In the past i would replace them entirely if they were to greasy. The magic eraser is wonderful for the stove.
My wife did the same thing…………till i told her bout cleaners for glass top stoves and IT WORKS
Oven cleaner.
