How do I make a propane burner out of 2 black pipes?

I have the gas hooked up I need to know how to add air to make it
work right.

with out the proper regulator you will blow urself and the neighbors up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just shape the pipe into the shape you want your burner and drill 1/8 inch holes 1/4 inch apart (so that 1st hole lights the second ) and put a control valve between the burner and the regulator.(you can find them at HD or LOwes) under gas grill repair parts.
why are you trying to burn yourself up?
1/8" holes sounds a littl bit big
you can buy BBQ burners already made for about the same price as some black pipe.
